Coming Summer 2025
Lacrosse holds deep cultural significance, particularly for Indigenous tribes such as the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois), who regard it as the “Creator’s Game.” Traditionally played to bring communities together, resolve conflicts, or for spiritual healing, lacrosse was more than just a sport—it was a sacred practice tied to cultural values and identity. The game carries a strong sense of tradition, with ceremonial rituals, handcrafted wooden sticks, and symbolic meanings passed down through generations
Lacrosse was more than just a game for Native American tribes; it was a powerful tool for building friendships and strengthening alliances. Played between neighboring tribes, these matches fostered camaraderie, trust, and mutual respect. The sport created a space where cultural exchanges flourished, uniting communities through shared traditions and sportsmanship. Lacrosse served as a bridge between tribes, promoting peace and connection while honoring the spirit of competition. We look to continue that tradition today by utilizing the game to build a place our kids can get outside, spend time with friends and have fun.
The feeling of the stick in your hands, the rush of sprinting down the field, and the satisfaction of a perfectly executed pass or goal. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting, lacrosse brings excitement, teamwork, and a sense of community. Reconnecting with the sport lets you enjoy the simple joys of movement, competition, and the bond formed with teammates, all while embracing the freedom and fun that come with each play.
